More than 93,000 refugees from South Sudan have fled to Uganda since December 2013. Rebel fighting within South Sudan has killed more than 10,000 and displaced over a million people. The UN has warned that the unfolding humanitarian crisis could be “the worst starvation in Africa since the 1980s, when hundreds of thousands of people died in Ethiopia’s famine.” Feed the Hungry is addressing the emergency by stepping out in faith to provide prepared daily meals to 7,527 Sudanese refugee children at 10 locations within the Kiryandongo Refugee Resettlement, one of…

Your gifts have been helping Liberian orphans know just how much a full life feels good for almost 20 years. And now through our ongoing partnership with Liberty Christian Center, more than 1,000 children are being fed daily at 11 feeding sites across the country. One of these children is 10-year-old Blessing who lost her parents in the war. Thanks to your support, Blessing has now found a home and family at the Temas Orphanage. Being well fed and living in a secure environment means Blessing has also been able to work hard at school, and she now looks forward…

Recent arrivals from North Kivu Province of Democratic Republic of the Congo. Fled violence that’s still stalking eastern Congo. Families living in absolute poverty, arriving with only the belongings they could carry.   Sharing just a few bites of food elicited this response. Hunger is a daily reality for refugees, but for this family Providence put them in contact with Feed the Hungry.   And now they may have the hope of a Full Life.
