An extraordinary blessed day!

Tuesday, August 27, 2019

By Gwyn Williams, June 2019 It was a seemingly ordinary day in the office, and yet for me, each moment of the day seemed extraordinary, from being met by biscuit crumbs near the kettle; signs of early starters, of a tired voice after from coming back from a mission in Kenya, news of new baby forming in the womb, counting coins collected at a bag packing at a local supermarket, and a volunteer popping in to prepare for backing 5,000 meals at a local school. Accounts being filed, events being…

Nourishment for souls

Thursday, May 4, 2017

The World’s most vulnerable children aren’t just hungry for food. They’re hungry to know that Jesus loves them. So with your help, we’re spreading the Gospel to the children in our feeding programmes by giving them Bibles and biblical resources – so they can know the joy of a full life both physically and spiritually. You’re changing lives by sending scriptural resources like Biblica’s Bible Adventures – mini Bible studies that use colourful illustrations to communicate God’s love and truth to children. Angeline, one of our coworkers in the Philippines,…

Your gifts have been helping Liberian orphans know just how much a full life feels good for almost 20 years. And now through our ongoing partnership with Liberty Christian Center, more than 1,000 children are being fed daily at 11 feeding sites across the country. One of these children is 10-year-old Blessing who lost her parents in the war. Thanks to your support, Blessing has now found a home and family at the Temas Orphanage. Being well fed and living in a secure environment means Blessing has also been able to work hard at school, and she now looks forward…

A Life Saved

This is a little girl who exemplifies why we keep reaching out, opening new fields, adding more kids… She was discovered by one of our community support groups. In Lesotho we operate through neighborhood groups of moms who are organized by churches to watch over the vulnerable children, orphans and child-headed households in their communities. The groups provide care and a safety net as well as preparing meals for the children in need. This little girl, now 11 or 12, was an orphan discovered to be suffering abuse from her…
