Earlier this year we were able to have some farming training provided to people in Zambia. For many of these people they have had to learn new techniques to help them adapt to the changing climate. An extraordinary blessed day!

Tuesday, August 27, 2019

By Gwyn Williams, June 2019 It was a seemingly ordinary day in the office, and yet for me, each moment of the day seemed extraordinary, from being met by biscuit crumbs near the kettle; signs of early starters, of a tired voice after from coming back from a mission in Kenya, news of new baby forming in the womb, counting coins collected at a bag packing at a local supermarket, and a volunteer popping in to prepare for backing 5,000 meals at a local school. Accounts being filed, events being…

Nepal Earthquake Update: “Who is this God who gives so generously to us in our need?”

Monday, September 7, 2015

“Who is this God who gives so generously to us in our need?” That’s what Nepalese earthquake victims were asking as we distributed the food and aid that you made possible! The earthquake in Nepal on April 25 devastated thousands of people, but you enabled us to distribute food and other essential relief to many heartbroken villagers in May. Your gifts brought the love of Jesus to traumatized villagers still living in tents amid rubble, still grieving the loss of loved ones, still rocked by aftershocks. They were amazed and…

More than 93,000 refugees from South Sudan have fled to Uganda since December 2013. Rebel fighting within South Sudan has killed more than 10,000 and displaced over a million people. The UN has warned that the unfolding humanitarian crisis could be “the worst starvation in Africa since the 1980s, when hundreds of thousands of people died in Ethiopia’s famine.” Feed the Hungry is addressing the emergency by stepping out in faith to provide prepared daily meals to 7,527 Sudanese refugee children at 10 locations within the Kiryandongo Refugee Resettlement, one of…

Your gifts have been helping Liberian orphans know just how much a full life feels good for almost 20 years. And now through our ongoing partnership with Liberty Christian Center, more than 1,000 children are being fed daily at 11 feeding sites across the country. One of these children is 10-year-old Blessing who lost her parents in the war. Thanks to your support, Blessing has now found a home and family at the Temas Orphanage. Being well fed and living in a secure environment means Blessing has also been able to work hard at school, and she now looks forward…
