One of the toughest places to live in the Filipino capital city of Manila is Tondo’s slums—with over 600,000 people crammed together in ramshackle squalor. Many people here lack adequate water, housing, sanitation, education, health, and employment; so they scavenge through garbage for food and anything they can sell to survive. Thanks to you, Feed The Hungry has been working in the Philippines since Typhoon Haiyan hit in 2013. Many are still caught in the ongoing storm of poverty.
Please pray:
- Many find a full life in Jesus through our Every Child Every Day program just launched in Tondo, feeding 1,000 kids daily.
- We can grow this program to feed up to 10,000 kids.
- More people can find Jesus and leave Tondo for a better life.
