Legacy & memorial giving

Lots of us have experienced what a full life feels like – and it feels good. But for many people in our world, this simply isn’t the case. Feed The Hungry provides quality nutritious food to over 400,000 starving children, alongside schooling programs which ensure these kids get the best chance to succeed in life.

Legacies and memorial gifts help us to continue feeding thousands of children across the world. It’s a wonderful way to give thanks for a full life.

Leave a legacy

Leaving a percentage of your estate to Feed The Hungry UK will help feed thousands of children, provide education and shape the future of our world for the better.

Sib’s Kitchen

A £30,000 legacy left to Feed The Hungry UK provided the capital to build Sib’s Kitchen. This training kitchen is a place where people can come together, eat well, learn essential skills for life and repurpose food that would otherwise go to waste. It benefits the thousands of people accessing foodbanks and pantries across Coventry and Warwickshire.

One legacy will touch the lives of countless people.

Your gift will not only help maintain programs already in existence but will also help establish new centres and increase our outreach work long into the future.

Your solicitor should be familiar with the wording required to leave a gift in your Will. They may require Feed The Hungry UK’s registered charity number, which is 1112955.

Give a gift in memory

A gift in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to remember them. It will feed thousands of children in some of the world’s poorest countries for years to come.

Food not flowers

When a long-time supporter of Feed The Hungry UK passed away, her family asked people not to give flowers. Instead, they were invited to donate to Feed The Hungry UK, with the funds raised going towards feeding children. Throughout her life, feeding hungry children had always been close to her heart. It was the perfect way to remember her.

Her family and friends raised over £7600 through their gifts, providing thousands of meals for hungry children.

You can celebrate the life of a loved one by setting up a special fund in their memory, or request that friends and family make a donation in lieu of giving flowers at a funeral or memorial service.

You can set up an online In Memoriam fundraising page quickly and easily using services like Much Loved.
