Emergency Appeal: Karamoja, Uganda

£15. One month. One family. One chance.

In Karamoja, northern Uganda, the rains have failed. Crops have not grown. Cattle are dying. And children – the most vulnerable of all – are facing starvation. Feed The Hungry East Africa are on the ground right now, ready to help. But we need money to get food to those who so desperately need it.

Failed harvests in EastERN Africa

Earlier in 2026, Feed The Hungry was supporting families in northern Kenya facing the same problem – high temperatures and low rainfall had led to extreme food insecurity in the county of Turkana. Feed The Hungry’s generous supporters provided money to send a lorry load of maize meals – 55,000 meals – to people on the brink of starvation.

Please help to support families in Uganda now facing the same critical situation.

Feed The Hungry UK works through local church partners on the ground. We don’t just drop food; we journey with these families from Survival to Significance. But right now, they are stuck at survival.

Please give generously to help get food to those who desperately need it.

A regular monthly gift enables us to work with communities for the long-term, helping them move from survival to sustainability.
Thank you for your generosity. We really appreciate every donation made to help tackle the problem of hunger around the world.
