Jesus lived a life like no other person. Throughout the Gospels, we see His example of how humanity can have relationship with each other and with our Father God. He was a radical; he bucked the trend again and again, not conforming to man-made rules but demonstrating love.
One of the things I love about Jesus is that He welcomes people, wherever they are at. Those affected by blindness, by deafness, by leprosy, by social rejection – whether brought on by circumstances beyond their control or by their own choices – if they turned to Him for help, Jesus welcomed them and showed them love.
Although the troubles facing many people today could be thought to have evolved since Jesus’ time on earth, His attitude of love to those facing affliction has not changed.
Jesus still welcomes people, and as an organisation working as the hands and feet of Christ, we follow His example and do the same.
By feeding the hungry together, and delivering aid in the name of Christ, you are joining with Feed The Hungry to help change people’s lives for the better, for the future and for eternity.
