HIS STORY
Life is made up of seasons. Sometimes those seasons are well defined or clear cut; sometimes it’s difficult to identify when they started or ended (or, indeed, if they’ve yet ended). Sometimes they’re seasons of joy, and sometimes seasons of sorrow. Sometimes they’re challenging, burdened or even painful. And sometimes they are seasons that change the course of your life.
As I write this, I am coming towards the end of a season – my time working with Feed The Hungry. It has been an incredible journey that has lasted 15 years – the best season of my working career.
As you can read in the longer article in the following pages, I am not stopping the pursuit of my calling – to help the least, the lost and the last – but God is moving my story on to a new chapter. While the end of this season brings a lot of different emotions, I know that the bigger picture is being painted in His story, and I am grateful that God makes the seasons of my life a part of it.
