We are so excited to announce plans for Make May Matter 2025!
For those new to the initiative, Make May Matter is a dedicated month where Feed The Hungry supporters and donors come together to organise and participate in sponsored events and activities.
The goal? To raise vital funds for Feed The Hungry, helping those in need receive essential, nourishing meals. Your creativity and compassion are crucial in making this happen.
There are so many ways to get involved and organise your event in May. In the past, we’ve had people running a barefoot marathon, putting on coffee and cake mornings at their church, cycling, baking and selling cakes, and even skydiving, all with the aim to make a difference for someone else facing hardship.
Last year, Alison gave up having her favourite snacks for a month and asked friends to sponsor her. She raised £100 in donations from her family, friends and colleagues just by not treating herself for the month of May!
How to get involved in Make May Matter…
We’ve tried to make it easy to get started with your fundraising for Feed The Hungry.
- Go to fth.org.uk/fundraising
- In the form, enter your name and email address, and click on ‘Submit’.
- You’ll get access to Feed The Hungry’s Fundraising Tool Kit, which includes an A to Z of fundraising ideas, printable resources for your event, invitation cards and sponsorship forms.
- If you would like your own personalised sponsorship web page for your event, complete the Sponsorship Page form with details of your event. We’ll make a page for you and will send you your personalised web page link to share with others.
