Field report

Growing in Faith

If you boil down what Feed The Hungry actually does, at the core, you’ll find five key words; survival, stability, sustainability, significance and spirit.

We want to take people from a place of only just surviving and help them to be stable, like those who are facing the constant threat of war in Ukraine, where we regularly send and distribute aid.

We want to help people to become sustainable; that is, self-sufficient and independent, like in our community farming project in Njanja, Zimbabwe.

And we want everyone to know that they are significant; they are valued and loved and have something to offer the world in which they live, like the children who have recently received Bibles in Zambia, Honduras and Haiti.

But underpinning all of this is the faith and belief that we are not just physical bodies but spiritual beings, made in the image of God. He loves every person, and we do what we do because we want to share that love of God with the world.
